Love borrowing from Hoopla, fairly decent selection. Only complaint is that it is so glitchy when playing audiobooks. I can play the books I downloaded without wifi, but often if I pause what Im listening to, then try to restart it, it freezes and it takes forever to get it to play again. Ill have to do all kinds of tricks to make it work. Irritating. Other than that, no complaints. I have a ten book limit and that is plenty, can only listen to so many audiobooks a month anyways!

This service only works once then never again. I tried to listen to music I borrowed and every time it froze then crashed. Downloading titles failed due to this as the app thought I was downloading on multiple devices instead of just the one so I could no longer access anything online. There is zero support to help with these issues and Ive wasted all of my monthly allowance trying to get one thing to work. Even the play button doesnt work unless you hit it repeatedly then you are 50/50 on the app crashing or telling you the publisher will no longer allow you to listen to it due to errors in downloading

Not bad considering that it is a free service. However, it buffers far too much.

After downloading the album, it doesnt play! Regardless of whether Im connected to Internet or not, the album does not play!

It keeps telling it has reached the daily limit on every item I wanted to borrow even at 7am! Please fix it!!

Everything had been working great, I loved this app! But now nothing will play, whether I download it or not, wifi, LTE nothing. Just get an "error, cannot play" message...on EVERY book I borrow....ugh so frustrating. Please fix

Would like to borrow more than only 6 items a month. 15 is reasonable

It casts promos of its content to my connected Chromecast, but not the music Im actually streaming.

The Hoopla Digital website does not sync with its app. For example, I update my password on the Hoopla Digital website but when I try to enter my updated password in the app, it does not allow me to save it. The titles that I have saved in my account via the website is not available in the app. When Im on the website and click Open in app, the link opens the iTunes Store app and not the Hoopla app. Weird. Youll have a better experience using the website rather than this very limited app.

I love hoopla, its one of my favourite apps. Have been using it over a year now and rarely have a problem. When I first started using it there was a lot more content to choose from. Why did that change?

It works but it is glitchy and often the album that has been downloaded will undownload itself without notice so that when you try to listen to the borrowed downloaded album without wifi, you are unable to. Disappointing app. I found that the app has been getting worse over the years concerning the glitchiness and the performance. Whoever created this app needs to keep working on it.

The selection of items available is pretty decent, but streaming barely works and trying to download to my device does not work at all. Not a problem with my internet connection.

I downloaded a movie to my iPad. Which, by the way, was painfully slow. The download completed. I was going to watch the movie later. So I logged out and closed the app. When I open the app again, the download is gone. But the loan period is not expired and I have not even watched the movie yet. So I have to do another painfully slow download. Can you please fix this. The downloaded movie file shouldnt disappear until either I delete it or the load period expires. Thank you.

Just did an update today and now I am not even able to get on Hoopla. What happened. I have been using it up till now and it was fine. Let me k ow what is happening.

I had this app awhile ago and used it once. If I remember correctly, I dont think I had any problems at that time. Now Ive downloaded it again on my new iPhone (I had to delete the app due to not enough room on my old phone.) My email and password will not get me in. I click, "forgot my password" but the screen locks and I cant submit or even get out of that screen without clicking the Home button. Very frustrating!

How didnt I know this before? What a great service, thank you for the application and the content. I downloaded two books and everything is working great.

I spent hours downloading videos for kids to watch while travelling. All downloaded with NO sound. I thought it was a glitch. Recently tried to download a couple books to read. Now it wont even allow me to save changes to my account. So frustrating. I was really looking forward to this service and its been nothing what it promised to be.

People probably already mentioned this but more than half the time I get a playback error message when I try to play a song. Quite frustrating. Thanks

Seriously, I have had no trouble with the web site but the app is crap. It worked for a while but now it wont save my password and wont let me borrow anything. Once you enter in your password and hit save nothing happens. When you leave that page and return to it the password space is again blank. Its really too bad. I enjoyed it when it was working.

I had the previous version on my iPad. Now the update to this version was recommended but it just hangs and wont complete. What is wrong with your development and deployment process?
