Ugh! Argh!

It gets worse, not better.
Even though the app allows video downloads to portable devices, it seems to have difficulty if its not connected to the hoopla servers. It repeatedly throws up error messages.
Sometimes the movies wont run without an internet connection even if it has been downloaded. Not too great if one is camping.
The app periodically deletes a downloaded movie. I have no understanding why.
Nor does it handle video scrubbing well and the fast-forward & reverse controls dont work at all.
UI design issues like having to return to the top of the page to hit the back button are unfortunate as well. Flipping from the left edge to get to a previous page often fails.
