I like hoopla but the search function could use some work.

Hoopla is an easy way to get into reading without having to get a physical book. Hoopla has made it easier for me to listen to books I can’t find other places. Overall, Hoopla has made my reading journey easier and more pleasant!

I love being able to get books to read on my phone and not having to worry about getting the book back in time. I have found a series of books which I love reading, but am unable to find them one after the next. But with this app. The books in the series are all there.

This is a really good app but you can only have a book/ audiobook for a math at a time

Hoopla is an incredibly effective and simple way for people to gain education for all ages. From the whimsical fairy tale world to the dark mysteries it is a great app

Love the functionality in this app. Speed play selections, sleep timer, etc. All around great app!

Local Library!

I just wish there were a way to filter your library to only show what is currently downloaded to the device. If there is I have not found it.

They gave me 8 books per month then like a year later it’s only 5 per month which I was fine with that BUT NOW ITS ONLY 3 BOOKS PER MONTH LIKE WHAT THE HECK?!?! EDITOR IF YOU READ THIS FIX THE PROBLEM LIKE RIGHT NOW CUZ I AM SMOKEN MAD 😡 HEN I HEARD THAT BEFORE I EVEN HAD THE APP IT WAS 10 BOOKS PER MONTH! LIKE WHAT NOW ITS 3 PER MONTH FIX THIS RIGHT THIS SECOND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love everything down to the books, audios, movies and MUSIC!. Like excuse me!??. I am hooked. Everythings free yall.😏 (only if u have a library card but mines an digital e-card. Still works!.🤷🏽‍♀️) Oh DingleBerry’s!! when i tell yall i have never loved an app this much!! Ugh, its just so.. mwah, chefs kiss 💋💋!!!. Also can yall add some up-coming new music artisit?? That would delight me alot!!. 🥹🥹

Hoopla is fabulous!

I love Hoopla!!!! After 2 back to back concussions in 2022 I could no longer read as it now causes migraines. So I started listening to audio books which can be expensive as you can’t buy them used. I had a friend tell me about Hoopla and that you can barrow audio books. Since I already had my library card it was just a simple download load. The app is very user friendly and I believe both young and old will be able to download load it and go. You can keep your Ebooks or audio books for 21 days which is nice as I sometimes need to listen to the same chapter more than once. How many things you can check out per month as well as what is available to you depends on your library.

Just when I was on the verge of giving up on E-Mankind, Hoopla renewed my faith by providing a seamless, rapid and is a great change of pace

It is a fun book and lates you amagin animals talking and it is amazing for beginner comic book readers

Overall I love the titles available on Hoopla but am disappointed with the small number I’m allowed to check out each month. With Libby I can have a running number checked out but not some of the great titles by authors I admire.

It’s limited to 3 books per month i wanted this app for a long time and now it’s limited 😡😡😡😡😡😡 I like it but it’s limited and you have to wait a month 3 books am really disappointed in this app please make the more books

Really enjoy getting my books with Hoopla. My only complaint is the restriction of only four books a month. There are months where I can get through more than four books. Overall, I am happy with Hoopla.

This app was super easy to join! I can’t wait to listen to my first audiobook. What a great way to rent, digital or audiobooks from your local library!

I appreciate the availability of books and easy to access website.

It keeps asking me to login but won’t accept my saved password. It is annoying when it asks all the time when I use the app multiple times everyday. And now it won’t let me login or change my password. Very frustrating when I want to finish a book and I can’t get to it.

What happened? Crashing non-stop cannot even reset a password!!🤦‍♀️

I’m not sure what’s going on with the app, but it’s become very glitchy. There’s no update so apparently they don’t plan on doing anything about it. If I get a phone call in the middle of listening, I have to shut the app down and restart it to start playing the book again. Also you better remember what chapter you’re on because a lot of times it’ll start you all the way from the beginning. It didn’t always do this, but it started a couple of months ago. I’ve actually moved on to use other similar apps because this one has become very frustrating. Also, you used to be able to borrow 10 titles a month and they dropped it to 5.

Amazing!

This app functions ok but the content seems to be a dumping ground for spy/crime dramas or other books not selling in the recent decade. I won’t recommend it to young readers either. It will bring their morale down. Find books that solve problems not mess with your head. Nothing is ever free.

An awesome Audiobook enactment of of intertwined love stories and the power to overcome through love. Hoopla has been a blessing to me.

I wrote a list of at least 40 audiobooks to finish this year, and hoopla doesn’t have any of them 😔

I like how easy this app works. The selection of books to borrow is plentiful.

I couldn’t find this anywhere, but Hoopla had it available immediately!

When you do an upgrade I lose my history. How do I report books that catch and jump around? It will be reading a long, and then it sticks on the same word like an old record player would do. Or it won’t play anymore at all. I unload the app and reload it, and then I lose all my history. I’m not clear who I should report that to?

User friendly and great selection of audio and ebooks

When I first signed up for Hoopla, I was allowed 15 downloads per month. Today I was told that there is a 3 download limit. There is no reason to continue using this ap since other apps are much more user friendly

I love your (HARRY POTTER BOOKS).

I was just listen to my book when it finished. And I thought that I could just get another book but there’s a really annoying daily limit. I tried day after day but there was always a daily limit. And then at the end of the month I tried and guess what there was a monthly limit. Like what the heck. You can’t make a book app when your broke like how did this idea pop in your head “ I’m gonna make a book app and not let anyone check out a book that’s a good yeah.2.5 stars and I was being nice.

I love using this app! Whenever I can’t find a book on Libby I usually find it on Hoopla. The only thing I don’t like is I only get 5 credits a month.

A known problem since December, or maybe earlier, of the audiobooks jumping around no one is fixing it. I used this service/app for years and it’s been several months since I’ve been able to listen to an audiobook on here because no one fixing what’s probably a few lines of code. This is what our tax dollars are funding…maybe the app isn’t directly funded by tax dollars but the libraries pay for these services. Get it together!

This is a great app completely free even with a child mode…but the daily limit went from 10 to 5 to 3 in a jiffy so what’s it going to be nect one borrow per month?and also it doesn’t take most people a month to read three books. To me this is very irritating.Basically I can just read my two books then send the app to the cloud because I won’t need to use it for the next twenty days because I have used 3 borrows.That is why I am knocking you down 4 stars😡🙄 ALSO people are saying that they get a chance to get books after midnight but for me it just says see you next month😩

I enjoy to listen to my books while I’m driving and reading during my leisure times!

Fantastic way to listen to the books I love and escape reality.

The selection is great and I’d provide a higher rating if the app worked better but it often loses my place and navigating within a book can be frustrating.
