I use Hoopla to borrow comic book material and honestly the only negative is the monthly limits my civic library places on items. I have used multiple comic readers in the past and the Hoopla one stands shoulder to shoulder with the best of them and far surpasses the majority.

I really loved using Hoopla but now there are a whole bunch of things that dont work. Plus, Ive tried getting ahold of app support but they havent written back and its been 2 weeks. I was in the middle of listening to a series with a lot of books and most of them were on Hoopla. Then all of a sudden, the whole series disappeared and when I search the author or the series it says there are no titles found. However, if I go into my history and click on one of the books Ive already read from the same series, it gives me the option to borrow. You cant have it both ways, Hoopla. Either you have the books or you dont. Also, since this all started happening, I cant seem to find any of the popular books on there. For example, I cant find any of the Harry Potter books. I also havent been able to find any books that are more than 5 hours long. I drive an hour one way to work so I cant waste a bunch of book borrows on short books. I am thoroughly unimpressed with the direction Hoopla has taken, and with their lack of communication.

Hoopla has the versatility I need to meet all my entertainment needs.

I dont go out without my hoopla app. It doesnt matter if it is a movie, a show, music or an audio book, it is just the best to have a chance to hear my favourite tunes on my way to work. I wish I could have my loans throughout the month, tho. It is only fair, if I have only 10 choices a month, to keep them until the end of the month. Thanks for this great app!

I love love love Hoopla, instant access to graphic novels, eBooks, music, movies... Need I say more?

I think its a really good app to have the only thing I wish they would have a little bit more up to dated movies and you are allowed to use more than just 20 movies in a month

I have only ever borrowed one movie, but I like borrowing albums. I like to download the album and be able to listen to music at work when I have no wi fi. Its great because sometimes I want to listen to a whole album before I buy. My only complaint is I wish I could borrow more per month.

Ive been using this app to read comics whenever I cant get to the library, which is more often than not now. Its great for offline reading and downloads quickly with the right wifi speed. It has great selection of dc, valiant and indie titles, but sadly no marvel books on there. Overall, its a great app.

Great app. Only problem has been that it arbitrarily reduces the number of items I can borrow. That has been frustrating.

This app is a true gem. I have been able to watch many movies with my kids, as well as enjoyed borrowing books and audiobooks.

I like the fair selection of movies but I feel like only 6 a month is kind of small... 10 would be a bit more reasonable.

I know that you can listen to music and watch shows; however, I usually use it for books and the occasional movie with my husband. I love how easy it is. You can download the audio books so you can keep your place or listen without wifi, you can put bookmarks in place, so you can go back to places. It takes time to figure things out but it is so nice to be able to borrow books without waiting for them to come available and there are a lot of books and audio books that are not found at the library. So, I find it convenient and fast and I read/listen to more books because of it.

Really good! Just wish they would update more current content audiobooks mainly i listen to it all the time!

Good selection of titles. Needs to go back to allowing 8 books per month instead of just 4.

It remembers your log in info unlike other library apps. Its very user friendly with good in-app features. Occasionally loses your spot in the book and starts from the beginning.

I like the app except when I lose my place. The bar to adjust where you are in the book is very hard to navigate. If you set the sleep timer and you fall asleep and miss part of the book its very difficult to find your place.
