Overall I love the app. My only 2 problems is 1) after I download a book to my device and listen to it at work where I do not have wifi and uses my data. 2) I hate I can only borrow 5 books a month. I can listen to 5 books in a week. I wish they would up the number of books you can get or once you finish a book as long as you return it why cant you get any more? The selection is pretty good but I wish they would get more newer books like other listening sites do. But this is a free app and I do get free books so I am extremely happy about that. I do not have time to read but I listen for at least 9 hours a day.

Best part of this app is that everything is always available with no holds. I can see something I want and just borrow it with no holds process. I use all day at work with no issues.

I love this app because it offers all the books my library doesnt. I hate this app because I can only get a limited amount of books each month. I accidentally downloaded a book & now Im stuck with it. No customer service.

Overall a great ride. Some of the voices were a little stained, but Im sure that will smooth out as the narrator becomes more experienced. Thoroughly worth the listen.

I have been using this app for more then 6 months. I love it. I travel in my car 3 times a week and I love that I can download a book and enjoy listening to it wherever I am.

Love this app especially since I can cast my audio books and music.

Found this app on my librarys site & l ed & appreciated the chance to borrow video content to be able to play off line. Or so I thought. I can download a video & play it off line IF I start it immediately & play it straight through. However, if I can finish watching it all & try to come back to it later I can only do that if I have an internet connection. If I am off line I can not restart the video & receive an error message. Thinking this might have been fixed with the most recent update I updated the app to have the problem still existing. Please, please fix this flaw!

Made known to me through my library. I have never had problems playing or casting. I appreciate the variety of movies, music, audiobooks and ebooks. I am hooked. My only problem is not enough time in the day to do all I want on the app.

It didnt show MRRL when I searched for it when I tried to create an account.

The most recent update has fixed a lot of problems with menus, and it seems that the download is working much much better now. Thank you thank you! Great app!

Downloaded the app, plugged in all the info to get started, but it wouldnt let me sign up. If libraries are using this, Hoopla needs to get its act together.

Lack of selection and buggy app make for a disappointing experience.

I love reading and books, even if your not a fan of reading this app is great because there are movies and comics and music. This app offers many titles in Audiobook form that are not even available at barns and nobles (bioshock rapture Im looking at you!) are available here! The app works beautifully with my phone without a single glitch or error. This app also offers a wide variety of titles, evens setting for kids if your a parent (dont let that 17+ fool you). My only complaint is, it doesnt tell me (or Im just to stupid to figure it out) when the end of my month is… Im a book junky what can I say…

I have just started to take advantage of Hoopla via my county library. Simply great!

This is a great app and what makes it even better is that it is free via your library card (depends of you library is part of a network). It has movies that I have always wanted to watch and tv series I need to see the end of. App is very easy to use and has parental settings.

I want to be able to give a more positive review, but this app is so slow and totally drains my iPhone battery. Ive downloaded audiobooks to the phone to avoid using cell data, but it even makes it perform worse. It looses where I was in the book. It doesnt give you chapters. Every time you pause it, you have to kill the app to get back in listening. It constantly shows you "Movies" instead of "My Hoopla, which would have been more intuitive. What use do I have seeing my returned books and movies? That info doesnt have to be on "first page". I only use this app since I borrow books through my Public Library, and this is their partner. I use Overlook too, its not perfect but it is so much better than Hoopla. Have a look at Audible and Overlook apps. Redo, do right.

Streaming content is terrible to watch. To much stuttering in the video content making the viewing painful. Ended up using Vidangel to finish the movie. Save yourself the pain spend a $1 and use Vidangel...

My favorite new app! Free audio books you can listen to right from your phone! I have had no issues with the app.
